Dr. Wolodymyr I. Bula
Originally from Essex Junction, VT, Dr. Bula completed medical schoool at the University of Vermont. Following his radiology residence at Maine Medical Center and his neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Minnesota, he returned to the North Country in 1994. He currently resides in Chazy, NY with his wife Leanne and their two young sons.
Dr. Jeffrey J. Buran
Born and raised in Plattsburgh, Dr. Buran graduated from Mount Assumption Institute. He completed medical school at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. His residency and neuroradiology fellowship were in Syracuse as well. Following in his fathers footsteps (Dr. Robert T. Buran was the first staff Radiologist at CV Hospital), he returned to Plattsburgh in 1992 to practice Radiology. He has earned Certificates of Added Qualification in neuroradiology, vascular and interventional radiology. Dr. Buran resides in Valcour, NY with his dogs Guiness and Nutmeg.
Dr. Anthony Conti
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Conti completed medical school at Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency at McGill University Hospital and his musculoskeletal - MRI fellowship at University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Conti moved here from LA in 2002 to be closer to his friends and family. He lives in Peru with his wife Francesca and their children.
Dr. David B. Hammack
Originally from Syracuse, NY, DR. Hammack completed medical school at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse. After completing his Radiology residence at SUNY, he remained on staff for 1 year. Dr. Hammack then moved to Plattsburgh in 1978 to practice at CVPH Medical Center. He continues to work at CVPH and lives in the Plattsburgh area.
Dr. Eric Herskowitz
Originally from the NYC metropolitan area, Dr. Herskowitz completed medical school at New Jersey Medical School. After completing his residency at Columbia Presbyterian in NYC, he completed his fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. He has practiced in the Mid Hudson Valley and in New Orleans. He moved to Plattsburgh in May 2006.
Dr. James S. Kenney
Graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Washington and his Vascular Radiology fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Vermont. Dr. Kenney moved to the Plattsburgh area in 1998 where he resides with his wife Lori and their young daughter.
Dr. Edward LaRow, Jr.
Originally from the greater Albany area, Dr. LaRow moved to Plattsburgh with his wife and five children in 2006. He graduated from Medical school at Suny Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY. Dr. LaRow completed his residency and Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellowship at Albany Medical Center. We are pleased to have him as the newest member of our Radiology team.
Dr. Michael E. Phillips
Originally from Burlington, VT, Dr. Phillips attended UVM undergraduate and medical school. Following residency and body imaging fellowship at the University of Iowa, he returned to the North Counrty in 1991 to join the team of Radiologists at CVPH Medical Center. He currently resides in Plattsburgh with his wife and 3 children and their yellow lab Ginger.
Dr. Gerald Schulze
Originally New York City, Dr. Schulze completed medical school at SUNY downstate in Brooklyn, NY. He completed an internship in surgery and a residency in Radiology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in NYC. He moved here from the city in 2005 wanting a more welcoming community environemnt.
Dr. Lori Sheporaitis
Grew up in the Burlington VT area and completed medical school at the University of Vermont. Her internship in Internal Medicine and her residency in Radiology were both at the University of Washington in Seattle. She completed a fellowship in Body Imaging at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT. She moved to the Plattsburgh area in 1998. Currently resides in the Plattsburgh area with her husband and their daughter.
Dr. Curt M. Snyder
Raised in Underhill, VT, Dr. Snyder attended MIT for undergraduate school. He returned to Vermont for medical school and then did a medical internship in Waterbury, CT, followed by radiology residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worchester, MA. He came to Plattsburgh in 1990 following completion of training. He now lives in Morrisonville with his wife and two children.
